Tata Motors have announced to launch a fully loaded version of the world’s cheapest car, Tata Nano. By the year 2012, Tata Motors will have a Nano model which will not only have a powerful engine but loads of others features too at its disposal.
It seems like Tata does not feel right about the current Nano variants and the never ending “Nano up in flames” story is not helping them a bit. Tata Motors is also eager to launch Nano in other International markets where such disasters, if go on; Tata will tarnish their image big time.
Maybe Tata is taking some time off and rebuilding Nano. Maybe the Nano we get to see in 2012 is a new product altogether. The new Nano 2012 will have power steering, ABS, air bags and other features necessary to pass European norms.
Mr Telang, MD PM, India Operations, Tata Motors, said, “Yes, there is a chance of Tata Motors launching the Nano Europa in the Indian market as well. It will have several additional features like a more powerful engine, power steering, airbags, ABS as well as higher structural strengths.”
